I really dig the little prince. Is that paper or canvas you've sewn?

I've been sewing paper for projects bound for the Dieu Donne Papermill show and auction. They supplied me with incredibly rich handmade papers (of various types), and the more apparently fibrous nature of the paper compelled me to not just paint on it, but also to treat it more like a fabric. I had fun.

Anyway, I apologize for not stopping in more frequently.

Oh, wait? One can read the material list below the picture? Wow. Ain't technology the greatest?

Yeah, stitchwork is great. I'm poised to incorporate it in the series that I am starting for an October show.

This guy was my pick of the litter. I made a dozen or so Fools, but most were destined to head straight to the dustbin.

While I was working on the Fools, I also made a fun series of stitched paper pieces depicting Inky (the Pacman Ghost) in Hell. Sadly, I don't have proper documentation for those guys. I might try to revisit that theme, cause it was pretty fun.
